Guys, look at this.
I’m sorry, but this really just shows me yet again how some fans are making that HUGE mistake of involving the creators in their view of the fandom.
Seriously, what on earth makes you think Mark Gatiss ships Johnlock? If you would just listen to him and Moffat, you can clearly hear their opinion on the relationship.
Ship Johnlock, that’s fine. Just: don’t involve the REAL people that created and portray these characters. Please.
Fandom stops being a good and fun thing if you completely lose yourself in it and forget that they are real people and they do not live inside our bubble and DO NOT WANT TO be part of it.They don’t want any of that, so please stop confronting them with it.
Also: For the love of fandom, stop blaming Moffat for everything bad that happens and only worship Gatiss. They are both great writers and Moffat isn’t a Dark Lord. Even if you don’t really mean it, imagine how he feels looking at all those “I hate Moffat” memes, posts, whatevers. And it truly becomes less funny every time.
Please, dear Sherlock fandom, be considerate.
